You'll never meet a more dedicated, caring or hands-on, long-term care business owner than Akshay Talwar. Akshay is the President of Medical Homes of RI, Inc including both Briarcliffe Gardens, LLC A New Concept Alzheimer's Assisted Living and Briarcliffe Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation.  

A former Professor at City University of New York (Baruch College Zicklin School of Business) Professor Talwar has been Involved in the field of Long-Term Care since the mid 1980's. His professional affiliations include being an active Member of the Board of Directors of the Alzheimer's Association Rhode Island Chapter and a Member of the Board of Directors of the Rhode Island Health Care Association as well as a Member of the American College of Health Care Administrators. Involved in every aspect of both Briarcliffe Manor and Briarcliffe Gardens, Professor Talwar is proud of Briarcliffe's excellent reputation in the community.  

Professor Talwar's post-graduate academic background includes Masters Degrees from Syracuse University and the State University of New York.  He holds a Graduate Degree in Accounting from Syracuse University, a Law Degree from Fordham University and a Graduate Law Degree from New York University.
